Our nurses are essential to the smooth running of the practice. They provide assistance to the vets, monitor anaesthetics, look after inpatients and run nurse clinics and puppy parties.

 

We are fortunte to have an excellent team of nurses including five qualified nurses, Catriona (practice manager), Rachael (head nurse), Gemma, Nicola and Maria; Sally, who is currently sitting her final exams, and Gaby, who is a first year trainee. We also have Terri, an animal care assistant, and Sally, a locum nurse.

Catriona Smith veterinary nurse in . In addition to her nursing duties, Catriona is also the practice manager.

 

Rachael Godsmark veterinary nurse in Summer 2004. Rachael is our head nurse.

 

Gemma Taylor qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in Summer 2004. Gemma is in charge of our lab and plays an important part in training our student nurses. She enjoys cat behaviour and working with exotic pets.

 

Nicola Cumbridge qualified as register veterinary nurse in Summer 2007.

 

Maria Day is a registered veterinary nurse. Maria runs the nursing clinics on most Saturday mornings. Maria is a keen breeder of Border Terriers.

 

Terri Smith is a qualified Animal Nursing Assistant.

 

Sally Harrison is a locum nurse who has been with us on and off for many years. Sally is very experienced and has earnt herself the nickname of the "cat whisperer".
